AI notice and disclaimers
You are talking to an AI
Hannah, Order Bot and Event Bot are automated AI assistants, not people. Businesses that use them must tell their customers this at the start of the conversation. This is a legal requirement in a growing number of places, for example the transparency rules for chatbots in the EU AI Act, and a basic matter of honesty everywhere. We give our clients ready-made disclosure wording with every bot.
What they do
They answer questions from information the business has given them, book, reschedule or cancel appointments, take orders and event bookings, save leads, and alert the business about urgent messages. They connect to tools such as calendars, spreadsheets, email and messaging.
What can go wrong
- AI can misunderstand people or give wrong or incomplete answers.
- A booking or alert may fail if a connected service is down or a message is not delivered.
- Bots only know what the business has told them. Prices and hours can be out of date if they have not been updated.
What they are not
- Not an emergency service. If someone is in danger or needs urgent medical help, they should call local emergency services. Urgent alerts to a business are best-effort only.
- Not professional advice. Bots do not give medical, dental, legal, financial or other professional advice, and nothing a bot says is a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation.
- Not a decision-maker. Bots do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. A person at the business makes those.
Human help
Where a business has switched on human handover, a person is notified when a conversation needs one. Visitors can always contact the business directly by phone or email.
Your data in the chat
Please share only what is needed to make your booking or order. Do not enter payment card numbers, ID numbers, passwords or detailed medical information. See our privacy policy.
Feedback
If a bot has made a mistake that affected you, tell the business, or email info@aibotlab.in so we can fix it.
