Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of aibotlab.in and to the services AIBotLab provides. AIBotLab is operated by Priyesh Pranjal as a sole proprietor in India ("we", "us"). By using the website or ordering a service you agree to these terms. If you order a service, your quote and any signed service agreement form part of the contract. If they conflict with these terms, the quote or signed agreement wins.
1. Our services
We design, build, connect and run AI chat assistants ("bots"), such as Hannah AI (receptionist), Order Bot and Event Bot, and may also build websites. Services are described in your quote. We connect bots to tools you choose, such as a calendar, a spreadsheet, email and messaging. The Founding-client offer (no setup fee in exchange for a testimonial), where available, is described in your quote.
2. Quotes, setup and delivery
- Prices vary by market and tier and are given in your written quote. A quote stays valid for 30 days unless it says otherwise.
- We aim to deliver within 5 business days after we receive everything we need from you (your business name, services, pricing, hours and tool access). Delays caused by missing information or third-party platforms do not count towards this time.
- You are responsible for checking the bot's information (prices, hours, services) before it goes live and for telling us about changes.
3. Fees and payment
- Setup fee: 50% before we start building and 50% on delivery, unless your quote says otherwise.
- Monthly hosting is part of every plan and starts on the day the bot goes live. It covers maintenance, content updates, bug fixes, uptime monitoring and support. If monthly hosting is not paid, we may switch the bot off until it is.
- You can upgrade to a higher tier at any time and pay only the difference.
- We accept bank transfer, Wise and Razorpay. Payment is due on the dates in the invoice.
- Prices exclude taxes, duties and bank or transfer charges unless stated. You are responsible for taxes that apply in your country.
- We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days' written notice. The change applies from your next billing period and you may cancel before it starts.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are the controller of the personal data your customers give the bot. You must have a lawful basis, give your customers a privacy notice, and tell them they are talking to an AI.
- You must follow the rules that apply to your profession and country (for example rules on patient data, advertising and messaging).
- You must follow our acceptable use policy and the terms of the third-party platforms we connect (for example WhatsApp, Google).
- Keep your account credentials safe and tell us quickly if you suspect misuse.
5. AI limits and no emergency service
AI can make mistakes. A bot may misunderstand a request, give an incomplete answer or fail to send a message. We test each bot, but we cannot guarantee that it will be correct, available or error-free. A bot does not give medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. A bot is not an emergency service. Urgent alerts are sent on a best-effort basis to the contacts you give us. Do not rely on them in place of your own emergency procedures. People who need urgent help should call local emergency services. See our AI notice.
6. Third-party services
Bots rely on third-party platforms (see subprocessors). We are not responsible for outages, limits, price changes or policy changes of those platforms, though we will try to work around them and tell you promptly.
7. Intellectual property
- You keep ownership of your content, brand, business data and your customers' data.
- We keep ownership of our tools, templates, prompts, workflows and know-how, including anything we reuse across clients. While you pay for hosting, you have a non-exclusive licence to use the delivered bot for your own business.
- If we build you a website, you own the website's content and design once you have paid for it in full, excluding third-party components and our reusable code, which stay under their own licences.
- If you agreed to give a testimonial, you allow us to publish it, with your name and business name, on our website and marketing. You can ask us to remove it later.
8. Confidentiality and data
We keep your non-public business information confidential and use it only to provide the services. Where we process personal data for you, our data protection terms and, where signed, our data processing agreement apply. On termination we will, on request, export your data (bookings, leads and orders) and then delete or return it within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it.
9. Warranties and liability
- We will provide the services with reasonable skill and care.
- Except as stated in these terms, and to the extent the law allows, we provide the website and services "as is" and give no other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, lost bookings, lost revenue or loss of goodwill, to the extent the law allows.
- Our total liability under or in connection with the services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or consumer rights you have under mandatory law where you live.
10. Indemnity
You will cover reasonable losses we suffer from claims by third parties that arise from your content, your instructions or your breach of these terms or the law. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you help to deal with it.
11. Term and termination
Services run month to month after go-live unless your quote says otherwise. Either of us may end the services with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or end the services immediately for non-payment after reminder, serious breach, unlawful use, or if a platform we depend on stops allowing the use. See our refunds and cancellation policy for what happens to fees.
12. Website use
You may browse and share links to this website. You may not copy it, scrape it, attack it or use it unlawfully. The content, design and code on this site belong to us or our licensors. Fonts and libraries used are subject to their open-source licences.
13. Force majeure
Neither of us is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages of internet or platform providers, power failure, natural disasters, war, strikes or government action. Payment obligations for services already delivered continue.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We prefer to solve problems by talking first: email us and we will work with you in good faith for at least 30 days. If that fails, the competent courts in India have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes protection you have under mandatory consumer law in your country, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
15. General
These terms, your quote and any signed agreement are the whole agreement on the services. If a part is found invalid, the rest continues. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent. We may update these terms by posting the new version and changing the date. For clients on a current service, changes that materially reduce your rights apply from your next billing period, after we email you at least 30 days before. Notices go by email to the address in your quote or at the top of this page.
16. Sanctions, export controls and electronic communications
You confirm that you are not subject to sanctions or located in a place where we are legally barred from doing business with you, and that you will not use the services in breach of export control or sanctions laws. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically (by email or WhatsApp), and that electronic messages satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing. These terms are written in English, and the English version prevails over any translation.
